HobbyBoss 1/48 Focke-Wulf FW190D-12 Model Kit

Because of the concerns of the new fighters of the enemy, the Germany Air Force put out a requirements of the new fighters.

The design of the Dr.Kurt Tank finally became the Fw 190 which were regard as one of the best fighter during the WWII at the end of 1903s. The fantastic performance of the Fw 190 soon led the replacement of the Messerschmidt Bf-109.

The D-12 model was developed in parallel with the D-11. The armament comprised a 30mm MK108 coaxial cannon and two MG151/20 20mm cannons in the each wing, the aircraft was powered by a Jumo 213F engine which the same as the D-11.The prototype once achieved a maximum speed of 730km/h at altitude of 9150m.
