The 1996 Ford Escort RS Cosworth, a homologation special for the World Rally Championship (WRC), was built on a truncated Sierra Cosworth chassis and was available as a road car from 1992 until 1996. Our replica is of the 1996 San Remo Rally, the car went on to come third overall in the championship winning the Rally Indonesia along the way.

That’s why the HPI Racing WR8 FLUX uses double wishbone suspension at all four corners, fitted with real coil-over oil-filled shock absorbers and thick sway bars front and rear, just like real racing cars! Thick main suspension arms are mated to durable uprights fitted with a pair of rubber-sealed ball bearings for performance that matches the legendary Ford Rally Team!

With the capacity to handle 2S and 3S LiPo power, the FLX-10 3S802 Flux electronic speed control can handle the latest, most powerful batteries you can fit in the WR8 FLUX. The FLX-10 3S802 features an integrated cooling fan to keep it cool in warm conditions, reverse so you can back out of jams with ease, and for maximum adjustability it's fully programmable with Hobbywing's LED Programming Card.
