Superior Protection

Maxx Slash's skid plates enclose the center driveshaft inside a rigid backbone for superior protection. The ultra-thick skid plates interlock for a clean appearance and snag-free performance in the wild. The rugged skid plates absorb punishment to protect critical bulkheads and driveline components.

Managed Airflow

Traxxas' pioneering work with the 100 mph X0-1 supercar paved the way for Maxx Slash's aerodynamic design. Underneath the truck, interlocking skid plates create a smooth undertray to reduce drag. Ventilation channels in the body reduce lift to improve hihg-speed stability.

 

Traxxas' Most Potent VXL-6S Power System

The VXL-6S speed control is custom-tuned to extract maximum torque from the Velineon 2000 kV motor. Greater efficiency delivers more power under the curve for additional mid-range punch and acceleration you can see and feel. Cooling fins are machine into the motor housing for cooler running and peak power.

• LiPo Batteries
  • Traxxas recommends dual 5000 mAh 3-cell 11.1 V Power Cell LiPo batteries for maximum performance. Dual 7600 mAh 7.4 V LiPo batteries or a single 6700 mAh 14.8 V LiPo battery will operate the vehicle with reduced performance. NiMH batteries are not supported.
