Bandai Figure-Rise Standard Amplified Batman
The Batman Figure-rise is Bandai’s first attempt at reimagining this beloved superhero in model kit form.
As a member of the Figure-rise Standard Amplified line, this rendition of the Batsuit shares little in common with the skin-tight apparel commonly associated with the Dark Knight, appearing more as a mechanical suit of armor. While straying from the traditional Batman design, the Batman Figure-rise still retains highly-stylized versions of his iconic equipment, including his wings, utility belt, and Bat Symbol emblazoned on his chest.
The Figure-rise Batman borrows a handful of parts from the HG Mazinger Z Infinity Version, providing the model with sturdy, all-plastic internals. Bandai painstakingly designed the Batman Figure-rise with minimal exposed seam lines and color-accurate final product. Bandai utilized clever parts layering techniques to provide impressive color separation without color-correcting stickers! The Batman Figure-rise also provides a lifelike range of motion with double-jointed limbs and multiple articulation points within his torso. Each section of Batman Figure-rise's wings unfurls to create dynamic flying poses and reveal the iconic silhouette of the Caped Crusader.
Weapons and Other Notable Attributes
The black Bat Symbol on the Batman Figure-rise’s chest is removable and doubles as a Batarang. Bandai also included an additional right hand specifically to hold this weapon. The two furthest extensions of Batman’s wings are also removable and feature unfolding handholds, allowing Batman to use the wings as handheld shields.
