The Unlimited Desert Racer combines Pro Scale® performance with extreme 6s power for the most thrilling RC driving experience possible. The UDR® drives like a real desert truck because it’s engineered like a real desert truck. A 4-link solid rear axle provides huge suspension travel with authentic driving dynamics. From the cantilever sway bars and high-voltage lighting system to the GTR shocks, Traxxas accurately reproduced a true desert racer in both form and function.

Driving Realism

The Traxxas UDR(TM) is engineered on an authentic, true to scale 4-wheel drive desert race truck chassis. The 4-link solid rear axle design provides huge suspension travel with authentic driving dynamics. From the cantilever sway bars to the 8 GTR shocks, Traxxas has accurately reproduced a true unlimited desert race chassis in both form and function.

6s Extreme Power

The 50+ mph UDR delivers its pro-level performance with brutal 6s power. The VXL-6s ESC combines massive power handling with high-tech telemetry features. An ultra-tough drivetrain harnesses the extreme power to make it easy to control and fun to drive.

Direct Drive Transmission

Large steel spur and pinion gears provide the ultimate in toughness and durability. The Torque-Biasing Center Drive distributes power between the front and rear drives for maximum traction on any surface. There’s no clutch to slip, just instant power on tap when you need it. The entire transmission and motor remove as a single unit for easy maintenance.

High-Voltage LED Lights

Flood the desert with high-intensity light from the rugged waterproof LED lighting system. A  amplifier powers 204 individual LEDs for brilliant light while tightly regulating the voltage to eliminate flickering and dimming. The rear light bar features class lights and smart brake lights that work when brakes are applied in either direction.

Solid Rear Axle

The unique solid rear axle design of the UDR(TM) combines with the 4-link geometry to eliminate torque twist. It puts 6s power to the ground like nothing else, tracking arrow straight while accelerating and then rotating on demand for effortless on-throttle power slides. The authentic true-scale driving dynamics challenge your skill behind the wheel in fun and exciting new ways.

Secure Battery Compartment

A heavy-duty battery latch locks into place to secure batteries inside the compartment. An outer skid plate keeps debris out of the battery compartment and adds a second layer of security to help protect the batteries.

Easy Access Design

The unique inverted tub chassis helps maintain authentic true-scale design while still allowing easy access to critical components underneath the truck.
