Q: How can I be sure that all of my purchases are credited towards my Works Advantage© Card points balance?
A: Always show your Advantage Card to the cashier, or give them your name, before every purchase (and return) and ask to have it scanned. Only then can we automatically capture your points. If your card/key tag was not scanned, then bring us original copies of your receipts with your contact info and Works Advantage© Card number. Always keep copies of your receipts.
Q: How many points do I have right now?
A: Just stop in any Hobby Works location, or email us (below). Any store can tell you how many points you've accumulated - regardless of where the purchases were made.*
Q: What happens if I have more than 300 points? For instance if I have 680 points, what will be the amount of my Reward Certificate?
A: If you have 680 points you will receive $20 in Rewards, based on reaching the 300 point minimum twice. The remaining 80 points will roll over toward your next reward.*
Q: Will my unused points ever expire?
A: *No, points do not expire.
Q: How often will I receive a reward?
A: Rewards become available within 24 hours of the qualifying purchase.
Q: I have more than one card, how does that affect my points?
A: The points from the cards & key tags will be calculated separately if the names and/or addresses are different. We can automatically combine accounts using the same name/address combination (see below).
Q: Our entire family enjoys Hobby Works®, can we have all of our cards add points to a "Household" account?
A: Yes. The accounts can be combined under the name and address of the head of household. Simply complete the change of information form at the store or email us.
Q: I lost my Works Advantage© Club Card. How can I get a new one and keep my points?
A: If you lost your card, the next time you go into our store, please fill out a Change of Information Form at the store. Get a new card, put the new number on the Form and your accounts will be combined under the new card number.
Q: When I return an item for credit, will the amount be deducted from my Works Advantage© Club points balance?
A: Yes, you receive points only for those items purchased and not returned. You must present an original receipt or your Works Advantage© Card to complete any return. One of the Advantages of having a Club card, is that if your receipt is lost or stolen, you can still do a return because we are able to look up the details of your original purchase!
Q: What if my address changes?
A: Notify us immediately by emailing us or completing the Change of Information form at the store.
Q: Does sales tax count towards my points?
A: No. Points are calculated only on whole dollars of the amount of the purchase, excluding any taxes, warranties, deliveries, gift cards, service fees, reward certificate redemptions and discounts.
Q: Can I exchange my Reward Certificate for cash?
A: Rewards must be used in their entirety on merchandise only. No change will be given for any unused Rewards, though you get to keep any unused rewards for later!
Q: Who can tell me the balance of my account or status of my Reward Certificate?
A: Email us with any inquiries about your account. You can also check in any Hobby Works store, though the data may be up to 24 hours behind.
Q: Can I use my Works Advantage© Card at any Hobby Works® Store?
A: Yes. The Works Advantage© is available at all Hobby Works® stores. All of our store locations are listed under the "Stores" menu at the top of the page
Q: Do I receive any other benefits as a Works Advantage© member?
A: Yes. Occasionally we have Double Point and Bonus Point offers which increase your rebate during that limited time! In addition, you will receive advance notice of sales and events when you receive your Reward Certificate. We also allow Advantage customers to return product without the original receipt, IF the item was purchased using the Advantage Club card, because we are able to look up and confirm the original purchase details!
