One of the nation's most powerful naval vessels, the USS Missouri was the last of four Iowa class battleships - the largest battleships built by the USN. The most memorable mission of the "Mighty Mo" was when she was chosen as the scene of the historic signing of the peace treaty with Japan. This kit contains a copy of the plaque placed on her deck after the surrender documents were signed.
