For over 2 decades, Yves Courage, founder of Courage Competition, has dedicated his life to designing highly competitive Le Mans machines that can stand up well against those of global auto corporations. Today, a number of Courage-designed cars race in the Le Mans Endurance Series (LMES) and 24 Hours of Le Mans. Among these is the Courage works team of 2 cars (the LC70 model), currently competing in the LMP1 group of the LMES, which held its opening race in Istanbul Turkey on April 7th to 9th, 2006. The new LC70s are powered by Mugen engines and drive on Advan tires, and feature a sleek-looking dark blue and red color scheme. This model depicts car No. 13, piloted by Japanese driver Kurosawa, which features Tamiya sponsor mark.
