About this title:

VAQ-140 “Patriots” is a U.S. Navy electronic attack squadron based at NAS Whidbey Island, in Puget Sound. It is currently equipped with the EA-6B Prowler. This squadron had the distinction of being the first Prowler squadron to deploy with the AGM-88 HARM. The EA-6B is a twin-engine electronic warfare jet aircraft that can operate from carriers and forward bases. Based on the A-6 Intruder airframe, it jams enemy electronic transmissions and gathers vital tactical electronic intelligence.
