This kit contains two F-14D Tomcats, each carrying a full load of weapons, and with unique markings from their respective units. Amazingly, the swept wings can swing forward or back just like the real supersonic aircraft! A number of parts are completely new toolings, such as the GBU-16 Paveway II bombs, LAU-138 Launcher, and the F-14 bomb rack.

About the F-14 D:

A pair of General Electric F110-GE-400 turbofan jet engines propels the F-14D Tomcat to a blistering top speed of 2,485km/h. Compared with earlier Tomcat versions, the F-14D has a 60% greater operational range, or can spend one-third more time on-station. The ‘D’ version was first delivered to a Navy unit in May 1990.
