1/144 USMC AV-8B Harrier II Plus - VMA-223 & VMA-231 (Twin Pack)

A new stunning kit containing two 1/144 scale models of this V/STOL aircraft. This kit received a new longer nose tooling that features the new APG-65 radar system, plus additional pylons designed to carry the load of munitions included in the kit. Markings are offered for two aircraft: one is VMA-231 and the second is VMA-223. Cartograf decals provide accurate markings needed to model aircraft from these two squadrons. The two models pay great attention to detail, being both accurately detailed and convenient to assemble. About this kit

The Harrier is a V/STOL strike aircraft developed jointly by the USA and UK. The AV-8B Harrier II Plus is used by the USMC, and it operates equally well from land or ship bases. In the Marine Corps, the solo-piloted Harrier II serves as a light ground attack aircraft that emphasizes payload and range more than speed (the Harrier II is subsonic with a top speed of 1085km/h).
